A game needs people, a place, and a plan.

Interest in the same sport is only part of getting a game together. Players also need a location, a time, enough people, and a way to stay in touch. Those decisions need to feel connected as someone moves from discovery to participation.

JoinSportMe brings the social and organisational sides into one mobile product. Player profiles and sports preferences help people find a starting point, while game creation, invitations, and conversations carry that interest through to a shared plan.

Start with the player

Onboarding captures sports interests, location, and profile details. Player profiles and discovery filters give members context before they connect, while map and location tools help ground the experience in places they can actually play.

Make organising a game a clear sequence

The creation flow connects a sport with game details, a location, and invitations. Dedicated invitation and request states make it clear whether someone is being invited, asking to join, or already part of the conversation.

Keep coordination close to the game

Game chat and player conversations give members a place to organise the details. Notifications and invitation responses connect those conversations with the activity they are about, so the social experience supports the plan to play.

Location and conversation as part of the product.

The application uses React Native, Expo, and TypeScript. Its routes separate onboarding, player profiles, game creation, invitations, and chat, while shared state and API queries keep game and account data available across those journeys.

Map and location integrations support discovery and choosing a venue. Socket.IO connects game and player chat, with connection handling for changes in application state. Push notifications provide another route back to invitations and conversations.

The social side of sport, built around playing.

JoinSportMe connects finding people with making a game happen. Discovery, game setup, invitations, and messaging share a mobile experience, giving players a path from a shared interest to a coordinated activity.
